Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 11, 2026

Thompson Software built Tangled Alibis as a party game that puts your friends in the same room before putting data on a server. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how to contact us.

1. What we collect

2. How we use information

3. What we do not do

4. Payment processors

In-app purchases on iOS are processed by Apple; on Android by Google Play; on web by Stripe. When you make a purchase, the store sends us a token that proves the transaction. We never see your full credit card number.

5. Data retention

6. Children

Tangled Alibis is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

7. Security

We use industry-standard transport encryption (TLS/WSS) for all communication between the app and the server. Purchase tokens are verified server-side before any entitlement is granted. Device-side identity tokens are stored using the platform's encrypted storage.

8. Your rights

You can delete your local data by removing the app or clearing the website's local storage. To delete your verified email and purchase records from our server, or to request a copy of your data, contact us at the email below.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app changes. The latest version will always be available at this URL, and the "Last updated" date will be revised.

10. Contact us
